Question. The Manual for my bike recommends AGIP 4T Racing 10 - 60 oil. Had the bike serviced last at Fowlers but Motorex 10-40 was used… is OK? What are people using on their Brevas?
I use 10x60 in my Norge, and also did in the 1200 sport I had before. Both basically the same engine as the Breva. This is what the manual says, and also what I have been advised. You could check your manual or download a workshop manual. I have had one dealer say they have used 20w50 without issues, but never heard of anyone using 10w40 in these. Maybe you should challenge Flowers to justify what they have done?
