After Market Centre Stand - V100 Mandello

Has anyone else ordered and fitted a centre stand from Hepco & Becker to their V100 Mandello? Mine arrived late last week and over the weekend I was fitting it along with the engine bars (also H&B) and hand guards I’d ordered from Pyramid.

The adapter plates (brackets) fit perfectly between the front foot rest brackets and the frame. Unfortunately this left an internal distance between the plates of circa 40mm more that the width of the actual stand I have been sent.

I have raised this with Motobins (the UK distributor for H&B) but just wanted to see if anyone one else has had any issues or if all OK. Some photos below:

I can’t help with your enquiry, but out of interest, why didn’t you use the MG original centre stand?

@SteveThackery - I had assumed the MG stand was factory order only and as I was ordering some H&B bits I just added to the basket. Everything else from them has been superb quality and really easy to fit.

Ah, OK - thanks. I got my centre stand fitted before collecting the bike so I don’t know whether it can be bought afterwards on the open market.

Got some technical advice back from Motobins (Hepco & Becker’s UK agent) and hey presto it turns out the installation instructions were not as clear as they could have been. Anyway - all sorted now and the stand is on and working very nicely. Another quality bit of kit from H&B which I’m very pleased with. Has a really high quality paint finish to it as well. :+1: :+1:

I ordered and and had delivered a centre stand from MG (Paper packing in box was local Mandello newspaper!) via Gutsibits. Didnt take long to arrive, though have not got to fitting yet. Need to aquire a side lift paddock stand to assist.
