# Airone gearbox

Hi, can anyone help with an Airone gearbox problem.  
I have my engine on the bench and I can select the gears manually, but when I put it in gear and rotate the engine the gear wheel for the chain is always stationary, this happens in every gear.

I have an English translation of the workshop manual for an Astore that describes rebuilding of the gearbox. Hopefully they are fairly similar and may just help you out.

Have you got the clutch installed? The final drive sprocket is on the clutch output shaft, and unless the clutch is working correctly you won’t get any drive.

Hi, thanks for the response.  
Yes clutch is installed, I think maybe it is something to do with the adjustment of the clutch springs. But now I am having difficulty trying to change gear whilst it is on the bench.
