Could anyone recommend a reasonably priced battery for a 1991 1000S. The original battery was 28 amp hour. Thank you.

‘Reasonably priced’ and ‘battery’ don’t go together these days. It also depends on what you want - AGM (advanced glass mat) or flooded acid? Flooded acid do tend to be cheaper but if you’re ordering by post then it has to be AGM.

No, Tayna Batteries will post wet SLA, or they used to. I have mail ordered several such from them over the years.
I have just looked at their ‘Delivery’ notes on the site, no mention about any restrictions.
Tayna is where I would start …

Yes. Living on this side of the Irish Sea involves all sorts of stupidities. I’ve gotten that used to them that I forget that Great Britain doesn’t have these problems.
