Battery is dead on my Cali, I have a horrible feeling the to change the battery, the air box is going to have to come off, am I correct?
No, Take off the riders seat, remove the tool tray, disconnect the battery and it will come out.

Phew, that’s a relief. For some reason, I thought there was a frame tube in the way.
What a dick, I couldn’t see the acid level, must have been dry. 
Yet, I check the acid level fairly often on my old FJ1200.
Ordered a Yuasa replacement from allbatteries, just under 60 quid.
Also ordered a new rubber battery tray from Gutsibits, the old one was more like plastic than rubber, where it had degenerated.
GO CHECK YOUR ACID LEVEL EVERYONE!!!
