The problem of rusting Cali 3 mudguards came up in conversation on one of the facebook pages and I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to the moulds GTM had made for the GRP mudguards?

No idea about the above.

I took my rusty front one to work, shot blasted it, revealing how bad it really was. I had previously wire brushed and “rust treated” it 😒 Rust soon returned, the shot blasting process revealed how bad it really was, lots of holes appeared. Light coat of primer, when removed for the blaster. Then I fibreglassed the underside.

Previously I had gone to B & Q, and had the cream paint colour matched. not perfect when brush painted, but, better than it was.
