go check your g/box oil level first before you dive in . if the level is v-low the bearing won’t be getting ant oil !
Well whatever is causing the squeak it isn’t the clutch release bearing because when I finally got in there it was fine with plenty of lubricant, both grease and oil. Because I need the bike this weekend it all went back together, changed gearbox oil and added a dash of moly and everything works fine, gears change ok , clutch feels good, sometimes it squeaks sometimes it doesn’t. I’m inclined to just carry on with it until something doesn’t feel right rather than just makes odd noises.
