I recently bought a Convert and the previous owner had removed the footboards and cut off the rear mounting brackets and the shaft for the foot controls(leaving the front ones intact). I have the footboards and and the foot controls and I’m thinking of trying to fabricate some new brackets etc to have welded on. I have no idea what the original brackets looked like, so if some kind person could email me some photos of these items I would be very grateful. No idea how difficult it will be to make them, but it will be a nice little project for the winter! Then all I have to do is find someone suitable to weld them on.
