Effective replacement for Stelvio rear mudguard

Has any Stelvio owner found an effective replacement for the bottom section Stelvio rear mudguard that reduces the amount of road spray that covers the back of the bike after a long wet ride?
The Norge equivalent looks to be a much more sensible shape, but I don’t know if the size and fixings are compatible, so that you can still connect the number plate light.

Thanks

I have fitted a duck tail from pyramid plastics to mine which Is a hard plastic mud flap. it just sticks on to the existing mudguard but you do have to remove the reflector .Highly recommend

Thanks Keith

I had previously thought of the Pyramid Plastics duck tail, but wasn’t convinced there is enough space between the number plate and the mudguard to fit it. Perhaps I’ll try it if you think it can be fitted once the reflector is removed.

Mine has an extended mudflap fitted by the previous owner

Steve

That looks like what I am after. Any idea who made or supplied it?

Thanks

Home made I think. Just a rectangular bit of foam mat fitted behind the number plate and extending below it. David Taylour-Cantrill may be able to tell you more as it is his old bike.
