ESSEX BRANCH MEETING AND CAMPING WEEKEND
Our next meeting is our camping weekend from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2022. Its all very casual and informal so there are no tickets (just book your room/campsite direct with the pub, details below) but we have put together a little programme for you.
We normally have our regular meeting this weekend so we’ll just incorporate that into the camping event, so even if you can’t camp please just pop down and visit us over the weekend instead.

WHEN AND WHERE?
The camping weekend will be held from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2022 at The Star, The Street, Steeple, Essex, CMO 7LF.
WHATS PROVIDED?
Its very informal and there is no ticket required - but you must book a pitch or room with the pub direct - see details below. The campsite is strictly adults only over age 18 so no children I’m afraid. Its advisable to prebook your breakfast and evening meals as its a very popular pub.
We will have a big communal tent to use as meeting space where tea, coffee and biscuits and cake will be freely available (just make a donation for charity). There’s spare mugs in case anyone forgets theirs and extension leads to charge phones etc etc (bring your own leads). The campsite has showers and toilets.
PROGRAMME:
Arrive Friday and enjoy a catch up with friends.
There will be a guided ride out on Saturday to some lovely local sights - details to follow but we’ll try and put a note up inside the communal tent in case you miss the updates.
Hopefully the pub will have some live music on Saturday night as usual.
If you want to dine Friday / Saturday its probably best to prebook a table with the pub.
Breakfast is available in the pub on Saturday morning but not Sunday morning, so instead Steve and Pigsy will rustle up a bit of breakfast on Sunday so you won’t go home hungry.

HOW MUCH IS CAMPING OR THE B&B?
Camping without electric is £8 per tent per night (pay when you arrive).
Camping with electric is £10 per tent per night (pay when you arrive).
Ensuite rooms are available at £60 per night.
Full English Breakfast is available on Saturday morning at £8.95 including tea or coffee. Please order when you phone the pub to make your booking. Steve and Pigsy will offer breakfast on Sunday.
