PS: yes still don’t get that, why the others can’t be drilled also, as it helps clear water off the surface quicker, be an advantage for other than LM as well surely. Or was that too radical for the 1970’s? Probably!
My R80RT has twin drilled stainless for goodness sake and it ain’t a “sports bike”.
