1200 sport suspension

Hi
Anyone upgraded the 1200 sport 2V suspension before and what did they go for?

I changed the front springs for Andriani and upgraded the rear spring to Ohlins as a kit from Andriani.

Currently have standard rear shock, I am thinking of swapping it out as it is showing its age now.

Hi. Many thanks for your comment. Do you think it was worth the cost?

Yes, definite improvement, specified my weight and type of riding and roads ridden - hoping that they would supply correct spring rates.

I will have a look. Really appreciate the information

An update, I have now replaced my rear shock with a Hagon as I felt it wasn’t damping as well as it should (many miles on rough roads). Definitely a good price range replacement and the dual/proportional damping on compression and rebound is good.

Thanks for the update. Could be a winter purchase

Have you ever removed the top bushing in the front fork?
Wondering best way to get it out. Any ideas?

Not yet, I do have a set of bushes, are you taking about the Fork leg bush?

Hi
I was going to try and change them to renew everything but I’ve been told you can not get them from suppliers.
Was not sure how to get them out either so I’m just going to leave them in. They look ok.

I’d keep a hold of those bushes Incase you ever need them

Thanks

I did a search on flea bay and found pyramid parts did bush and seal kit, based on fork dia and being marazzochi.

I feel mine could do with replacing as I have done a few miles now.

I can sort out the link from ebay next week if you want?

Hi
Yeah send me the link. Just not sure how to get the bushing out ( 6) except a long flathead screw driver or similar tool?

Wes

Hi Brian
Do you have the link for the spare front fork bushings for the 1200 sport please? Everything I see is for the Griso
