Looking for an original front brake master cylinder with lever for 79 sp

If the brakes are still linked, my advice would be fit a smaller one than original. Guzziology offers more details, but from memory I fitted a brand-new 10mm version bought from Stein-Dinse for a reasonable price. Much improved feel of the front brake.

Guzziology recommends 10mm for the small blocks. 13mm or 11mm its a bit subjective. The smaller the bore the longer the lever travels. I have the 13mm on my Spada (newer rectangular reservoir type) and I feel really comfortable with it. You squeeze hard to brake hard. My Cali had the 11mm and is very soft by comparison. Before I adjusted it the lever would nearly come all the way back to the bars. A lot more movement. Although technically this means its more powerfull it doesnt feel like it.
Also I had trouble sourcing replacement 11mm piston, ended up going to the states for it. Might be different now.
BTW these replacements will have dog leg levers which are much more finger joint friendly.
All this assumes single front disc linked brakes as mentioned above
