Hi
I am restoring a V50II and am trying to fix the original air Box the front end is attached by a bracket which I have however the rear end nearest the battery has no bracket and I can’t see on the parts catalogue or manual how it is attached can anyone help with a photo or advise on how to fix it
On my old 850 I think it was the rubbers from the carbs that supported the box plus the pipes that connected to the engine?
Many thanks I think there is a metal support inside the air box and the carbs do support the box externally
There is no bracket at the rear of the Airbox It is supported by the snorkels or manifolds; whatever you want to call them Carb’s; from the Carb’s.
Regards, Nik
p.s. Glad to see people are starting to reinstate air boxes instead of crappy K&N Filters!!!
Thanks Nick any joy with head light
Thanks Nick
I’m trying to get a slightly better one I may be back to you yet
