I purchased a new 2024 model (Euro 5+) V85 TT at the beginning of June, and I’m now researching how to best accessorise it for my own needs. Whilst the ‘new’ model could be simply sated to be an evolution. or update, of the Euro 5 version, many of the Moto Guzzi accessories that are available for the previous model(s) are not interchangeable with the newer version.
If anyone has purchased a Euro 5+ V85 TT and knows where the V3.0 MIA box (part No. 607687M) fits under the passenger seat, I’d be grateful for your advice/opinion.
Please note that the under-seat area does not appear to be the same as the Euro 4 and Euro 5 versions.
Thanks and regards, new member & life-long air-cooled twin fan.
PS - It’s an awesome bike BTW
I’d call the dealer
Hi Mercury, I am very interested in buying one of the new v85tt’s, please will you post your findings on here.
Cheers
Richard.
I’m due to collect my new 2024 V85TT next week. Some of the factory options I ordered (I didn’t go mad) won’t have been delivered by then so even Guzzi are, quite typically, behind with the accessories for a ‘new’ bike. I’ve also been researching tank bags which should be the same as the earlier model but panniers/top box options, with the aluminium rack, don’t appear to be available yet (Guzzi or aftermarket). I popped in to another dealer to ask about this and he advised it was showing on Piaggio’s system but with no prices or availability. I’ll be looking for a small-medium sized aluminium top box, although not necessarily an overpriced MOTO GUZZI badged one!

Image of Mia system fitted to my 2024 MY V85 TT for reference is anyone else needs to know: it mounts atop the ECU via two self tapping screws
Hi Jon.
The shape of the tank has been remodelled on the 2024 MY V85. Whilst I’m not sure what the Moto Guzzi tank bag & bracket looks like for the previous versions, I’ve just fitted Guzzi bracket (part No. 2S002313) and tank bag (part No. 2S002227) to mine:
I’m not bothering with a top box, but I too am waiting for aftermarket frames to be made available, so I can fit top loading aluminium panniers (I’m not keen on clam-type).
Hope this helps.
Hi Richard,
Some further information and photographs of my Grigio Tambora (Drum Grey) V85 TT attached above.
I attended last year’s ABR festival on my previous bike, Ducati Multistrada V4 S, where I test rode the Euro 5 version and immediately fell for its charm and looks. However, when the Euro 5+ version was announced at EICMA, along with the Stelvio, I decided to wait; subsequently ordering my V85 as soon as the prices were announced.
I’m more than happy with my new bike and don’t miss the Multistrada one bit.
I generally do about 6k miles per annum on my main bike, and the V85 is just ready for its first service. I’ve got some more trips coming up so I’ll be putting it to good use before the really bad weather sets in: not that the summer has been any good to date
Thanks Cali
Alas, Euro 5+ bikes are as new to the dealers as they are to us at the moment. I did call into my dealership to pick something else up, and coincidentally they’d just taken delivery of two new V85 TT Travel versions, which have the Mia system fitted at the factory. They kindly allowed me to look under the seat to see where the Mai is fitted (see photo of mine in post).
Mia query now resolved: see subsequent post(s)
the advertisement in the latest gambalunga shows a 2024 v85tt with panniers so they must be in the pipeline
the rear rails look to have cut outs similar to v100 and new stelvio, so perhaps the panniers don’t need frames
Thanks. I was looking at the Moto Guzzi tank mount and bag too. It looks like a re-branded Shad item.
When convenient, I’d be interested to hear a bit more about it in terms of functionality and quality. For example, do you have to use the key every time to remove/replace it? That info’ just isn’t available anywhere I have looked.
Thanks.
Hi Squarepants
The section of lock-ring that’s permanently attached to the tank-bag is, as you suggest, Shad branded. It’ my understanding that the tank-bag and lock-ring are however designed by Moto Guzzi specifically for this bike, and are therefore a much better, neater, fit than generic alternatives (if any exist yet!). I have a Garmin sat-nav mounted via the handlebar clamps and this tank-bag set up provides more than adequate clearance for that too.
You can either lock the tank bag onto the ring or leave it unlocked for quick detachment if required.
It proved to be a useful piece of kit during a 350 mile round trip this week.
Any chance of a picture, im still thinking tail box as i figured a tank bag would block my sat-nav, but if yours is o.k. i may reconsider
I’m missing the convenience of my magnetic expandable Oxford tank bag…These are a wonderful piece of kit I’ve been using for several years on a variety of machines…The V85 having a plastic tank prohibits their use…I am considering disassembling the tank covers and arranging some steel panels in the gap between the panels & the actual fuel tank…This maybe a little optimistic but if it was successful I’m sure other V85 riders might appreciate it…My question is…Has anyone else attempted this ??
I use the SW Motech tank bag as recommended by Ride magazine on my V85TT. It clips on & off in a second & can be locked on if necessary.

Hope you find your answer soon.
Givi are now listing kit for the 2024 V85 now. Although it does say on some items they are in manufacturing. Whatever that means

I collected my bike today but the MIA has not arrived yet so it’ll be going back for that and the centre stand at some point. Thanks for the image - there seems to be ‘just’ enough space under the seat to plump up the contents of the toolbag a little.

Hi, I collect my V85tt 5+ on the 1st March (my birthday)
I have specified a Givi Trekker Evo top box with 2024 mount. The dealer are fitting them on the PDI today if all goes well.
I also have ordered an SW motec side Pro Carrier but delivery two weeks. I contacted them directly as they don’t have them on the website, but they sent me a link. I will be fitting my Moskow moto panniers to the carrier I’ve had for some years on other bikes.
