While out on a ride yesterday I experienced vibration from front end of bike. Stopped at a cafe checked all plastics etc nothing found so had a tea got back on bike pulled off only to hear a loud noise from front wheel as it rotated. Stopped immediately only to find one of my spokes had snapped and was hanging off. Spent today trying to source a new spoke with no luck so far. Seems it’s not an item normally held in stock so will have to order from Italy. If anyone can suggest a dealer who may have one please let me know. I’m based in South Wales
Very very rare for a spoke to snap with no external impact.
Worth checking of the other spokes are holding similar tension - nothing technical just thwack them lightly with a spanner. looking for a similar tone from each, If they are radically different your rim may be damaged

Have you tried Central Wheels? They seem to have spokes for just about everything and if they don’t, they will make you whatever quantity you need.
I’m also very much in agreement with 350lcjohnny here; make sure the other spokes ring identically. Also check that the heads of the other spokes are seated correctly in the hub (I assume it was the hub side that broke?). I had the nasty experience in the not-too-distant past of four spokes snapping on the rear wheel of a relatively modern bike. Turned out that just about all of the remaining spokes would ring correctly because they were all under the same tension, but the heads on most of them were not seated correctly.
I blame myself for missing such an obvious foulup.

Quick update all remaining spokes are good, new spoke on order. Thanks for the input, still not sure how it happened but will be paying more attention going forward.
