A Big Ask ! Electrickery ...

Whilst you are at the starter relay, re-do the wiring to it as the original only works about 50% of the time and always lets you down at the worst time, with a click and no whirrr. The relay is tucked away right side of the battery compartment, mounted on a triangular steel plate.Rewire it like this, copy the red wire from the fuse box spare way should be availableThe second red wire from the relay goes to the solenoid.

Nope, mine wasn’t like that, not sure the Spada was either! ^ That’s fuse #5, because he’s got a Spada Don omitted to mention fuses #5 & #6 are connected to battery+ on Spadas & LM2, they aren’t usually connected to anyfink on other models. Which means also need an extra wire from battery+ to input side of fuse #5.

Correct Mike, the lower fuses are fed direct from the battery, not via the ignition switch. It is this that causes the click no clunkThese fuses are used to feed the indicators etc so they can be activated as hazards when the ignition switch is off.
