Hi. I am Brian from Talgarth near Brecon. I picked up my first Moto Guzzi Yesterday and really enjoyed the ride home. I decided to downsize after a slide 4 weeks ago…my Vstrom 1050 did not survive. I bought a 73 Plate V7 Stone and oh…it is so good to be able to get both feet flat on the ground with less weight to push around. I retired from the NHS nearly 3 years ago and am currently an active rider for Blood Bike Wales…even though in Powys we ride Hondas. Looking forward to meeting up with fellow Moto Guzzi members!

That will be quite a difference… 
I’ve a ‘Glee’ and bought a V7 simply to make life easier on short trips, (especially for the missus who has dodgy knees so doesn’t enjoy climbing up and down if we’re just popping out).
The Guzzi is quite a different ride, but a whole lotta fun too.

Welcome, I hope you enjoy your bike, like a fine wine, your Guzzi will improve with age, not necessarily the bike’s age but as you get used to it’s little foibles your grin will get bigger and bigger!

…as I have discovered. I had a 112 mile run in Mid Wales today. Totally different from the Vstrom but lots of character. I love it!
