In the 1990’s or early 2000’s (I think) an article appeared in Gambalunga where the writer had fabricated an inlet tract to convert his big block Tonti to a single carburettor. From memory, it was made from copper tube which had been cut and shaped into roughly a Y shape, the sections were, perhaps, brazed together. The single carburettor sat in front of the battery.
Does anyone on here remember this or, better still, does anyone have the actual article that they could possibly provide me with a photocopy?

Sounds like an accurate description. I think it was produced by Black Dragon Motorcycles in Wales.
Ij have seen a few examples on YouTube ad Google Images.
