I’m running a 2025 Mandello S, I’ve gone through the owners manual and can’t work out how to switch the active cruise on, the manual suggests there is a toggle to activate it but can I find it, hell no. Any advice will be greatly received to overcome my senior moment, cheers!
Hey @Trougher , if you mean the FCC (Following Cruise Control) feature on radar-equipped bikes, then you need to purchase the module from a dealer. On the Stelvio PFF it cost me £190. When installed you’ll see a new menu item to the right of Trip B, or heated grips, or heated seat (depending on which of those you have installed, and it’s that menu setting where you select following distances of 1, 2 or 3. I’ve had it installed for around a year (15,000 miles) and really value it. I’m certain many others would hate it ![]()
“…many others would hate it”
I think Barney is talking about luddites like me ![]()
Ahhh, got it, I didn’t realise it was a separate purchase item. I’m really conflicted about it as I’ve experienced it on a few cars now and some implementations are definitely better than others! When it works well it’s really useful but some of them handled the slow down very crudely and not progressively applying braking but this one is throttle only I believe.
I’ll have a search through the forum for any other views.
Hahaha! I can understand why people don’t like it but I use it a lot on my car on the M Way/duals and tbh I’ve experimented with it as feet off around town on ones that I’ve thought were good and I’ve been mightily impressed tbh.
FWIW, having spent an extra 800 notes for Radar, it was an easy choice to go the extra for FCC. I think the reason it’s in two parts is that the FCC software wasn’t ready when the bike was launched (Jan 24) and in fact it wasn’t available until June 25, a year after I bought mine. Annoyingly it took another 9 months for an update to fix a bug in the Resume function.
