Anniversary Laverda event at Shelsley Walsh

Saturday the 7th of September sees a special event for ILOC (International Laverda Owners Club), who are celebrating their 50th anniversary. This happens to coincide with the 75th Anniversay of Laverda motorcycles.
Many Guzzi owners have other Italian bikes, or at least an interest in them.
The Club is holding a special event at Shelsley Walsh hill climb site, where members will be running their bikes up the famous hill. This event event is being supported by Piero Laverda, who is travelling to the UK for the event, and is bringing a selection of famous bikes including the mighty V6 endurance racer. All the information is in the flyer below.

Ohhh how i pine for a Jota, i rode to Eddys in Leeds with my then girlfriend now wife on my Honda 750F1 to buy an orange Jota in 1979/80 and there it was in the window looking stunning. And they were bloody well shut (i think it was a sunday and my only day off work) i was so angry at them being shut i never went back. And the pain has never left :disappointed_relieved: but now i look back and think it may have been a blessing as i was shall we say an enthusiastic rider and a Jota may have been faster than my skill level.
