Just in case anyone wasn’t aware, Arnolds Motorcycles are no longer Guzzi / Aprilia / Vespa dealers.
Arnolds closed the Leicester branch that held the Piaggio franchise in Jan with an indication that this business would transfer to their Loughborough branch.
After visiting the Loughborough branch last week, I was told that they are no longer dealing with Piaggio.
Myself, and a number of friends have purchased Guzzi’s and Aprilia’s from Arnolds but no one was contacted by Arnolds about the franchise closure.
A great example of customer service.

I wonder who you expected to contact you? Piaggio would be unlikely to do so and so as you suggested possibly Arnold’s?
Aside from that, do you have a bike that is still under warrantee? If so you should contact Piaggio and ask them where you should take it for services and warrantee work.
I bought my Stelvio from Newcombe Bros in Chelmsford in 2011, they ceased to be a Guzzi dealer a few years later but are still happy to service it, and the mechanics still know their way around the bike.
Have a look about your area, not all good Guzzi mechanics work in Guzzi dealerships.
Best of luck, Chris
Depending on where you live in relation to Leicester and Loughborough it may be useful to know that Sycamore Wolverhampton have recently taken on a Piaggio franchise - yes, the Hardly Ableson dealership in Chapel Ash.
I think you’re right MickB..
if I were a dealer who’d lost or even pulled out of a franchise, I reckon I’d be contacting previous buyers to say “Don’t worry, we can still service your bike”.
Surely it’s in their interest.?
