I spent an enjoyable 3 weeks on my 1995 Ducati Monster in N. Spain and central Portugal in April/May, and was glad to find that E5 fuel was readily available at ALL filling stations.
In fact, most of them had both standard E5 (95 octane) and E5 Super 97/98 octane).
Interestingly, quite a few of them, especially in the rural areas (I usually avoid motorways and big cities) did NOT have any E10 at all! This may be due to the prevalence of (often surprisingly) old cars and 'bikes & scooters in these areas.
