Back in the saddle!

Morning all, finally returning to the Guzzi family had several over the years but a near fatal crash back in 2021 (none fault) left me with the prospect of life in a wheelchair. Three years on and I am walking and riding again. Took a v85tt out for a test ride on Monday. Hated it for the first 30 miles. Two hours later I had to ring the shop and apologise as it wasn’t going to be back in the allotted 2 hour timeframe, after over 4 hrs I finally brought it back and reluctantly handed over the keys. :joy: Absolutely loved it. I had forgotten what an amazing machine the Guzzi is! All the new fangled electrickery has done nothing to spoil that lovely engine!

Idiot overtook me on a blind bend, there was a car coming the other way at speed, he swerved and hit me head on. We got our 15 minutes of fame lol.

Crikey Mick, that was horrific. At least Olive was OK. I donate monthly to the Yorks air ambulance. They do a cracking job.

Glad to hear you’re back. I hope to be picking up a nearly new V85 in two days time to compliment my 850 T4. Whatever you decide to get next, enjoy and ride in good health.

Cheers Endo. I think I just set a new world record for the shortest ownership of a motorcycle ever!!! :joy: I traveled 340 miles on Friday night to pick up a beautiful v85tt in the 100th anniversary greet and silver, then drove 340 miles home. Went for a run out on it on Sunday with my partner who was riding her 411cc Royal Enfield Himalayan. We stopped for coffee and I started telling her what a fantastic machine the v85 was. She was nervous but agreed to try it out. I ended up riding the RE home and am now looking for another v85tt as Elaine has fallen heads over heels in love with mine! :joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::muscle:

There are two blades of grass under the front tyre on the top photo and only one on the bottom? Do I win a major prize?

You can edit one out. Or add another!
