I just got a Motobatt quadflex battery for my V50. Do I just connect to two terminals as normal and ignore the other two?
Or do I need to connect the other two terminals as well?

Ignore them or use them, the extra positive terminal can be handy for adding extras like heated grips ![]()
Or, indeed, for connecting the battery to the loom in alternate positions. One can buy handy-dandy little L- and/or C-connectors that further enhance the “connectability” options.
Assuming it’s a negative earth, worth making sure the ‘spare’ positive terminal isn’t near anything it could ground to, when out riding, especially with all the potholes about.
I think Motobatt provide a plastic insulator that clips on the terminal, but they are pretty flimsy and easily lost, so worth plenty of insulating tape at the very least.
