I have owned the bike since September 2009 and am the second owner. Apart from the 1st annual service done by a dealer in Chatham I have done the servicing myself, but the motor has always been run on 10/60 oil. I have all the old MOT certs too. Currently the bike could probably do with a brake fluid change, but there is no sign of sponginess in the brake or clutch levers.
