Bellagio no electrics.

I went to start my Bella.
All lights came up, I hit the starter and it started to turn then GUZZ002 came up briefly (I think) and from then on it has been dead.
Any ideas.
Battery is new and fully charged.
Now sorted, see below.

These don’t suffer from the good old “startus-interuptus” syndrome do they?

Ian,

’GUZZ002 = Bike has reached end of service life. Replace with new model.
With a slightly more serious hat on, the only tables I have seen list error codes prefixed ‘DSB’ or ‘ECU’. I have no idea what your ‘GUZZ002’ means. Are you sure that’s what it said-?

Jon

Jon, no I am not as it only flashed briefly.
But I do now know what it meant-
YOU’RE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL IS SLIGHTLY LOOSE YOU COMPLETE AND UTTER D1CKHEAD.
Ah well, I should remember my own advice, it is still only a motorbike so check the simple stuff first.

Whoops!

Oh it’s even better than that.
I was due to have a scan at the JR Hospital so had to fast for 6 hours.
As I didn’t get there the pain and emotional trauma of not having a sarnie for dinner was completely wasted and I will have to do it all again in 5 weeks time.
Woe is me.

That’s a known Bellagio problem: it happened to me too. Oh. Wait a minute

With the old bikes the terminal would have been fine but these new computerised jobbies see a slightly low voltage and go dead.
Just something else to get used too.

It’s elf ’n’ safety gone mad I tell you.
