Getting oil on the rear tyre after a long run, tried burping the box a few times but it looks like the inner seal is failing. Before I strip it and order what I need can you extract and replace the seal without removing the flange cover?

Removing the back wheel is the only bit of dismantling you need to do to get at the seal.

just got to make some garage room now!
I’d guess this is sorted by now but if it still leaks make sure the gearbox breather isn’t blocked.
Job done, a straight forward process but took the bevel box off for better access. Then there was the usual problem of not having enough time to test it! Thanks for the gearbox breather tip
