Black engine paint

Hi I’m new to this forum, so hello to all.
I have a California Stone which has balck engine paint on it. This paint has a gritty feel and look. Is it standard and does anyone know what its called.

Welcome to the forum. No personal experience of touching up the paint myself, but there are many wrinkle finish engine paints available.
