Bob Berwick RIP

Afternoon folks.
We have just received the sad news that MGCGB stalwart Bob Berwick has passed away.
A very sad loss. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Bob.
Below is the post from his sister Helen:-

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of my brother Bob Berwick. He died peacefully on Saturday evening.
Friends are welcome to join his family at the funeral service which will be on Wednesday 26th February at 3 pm at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Rd, Accrington, BB5 6HA. Then afterwards we’re having a gathering at The Whitakers Arms 332 Burnley Rd, Accrington BB5 6HG.
If you’d like to attend I’d be grateful if you could private message me to help us know how many to cater for
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the North West Air Ambulance charity.

I have suggested that maybe club members pm me instead and I will let her know who wants to attend.

I met Bob a few times when he visited Essex on the Pilgrim Rallies and also at Fordingbridge, a nice guy that the world has now lost. My condolences to his family and friends.

I met Bob at a winter rally in Scotland a few years ago, nice guy and sad to hear of his passing. Surprised there are no messages from the committee as I believe he was a stalwart of the club. RIP Bob, it was nice to have met you

Gino, the committee only rarely visit the forum so I am not surprised, maybe look on Facebook.
