What is the best way to keep brake discs and pads regularly clean without dismantling them?
Are there any cleaners / cleaning products you would recommend?
How frequently should they be cleaned for casual riding?

Traffic film remover, a small soft brush, then wash off with a hose
NEVER EVER USE A PRESSURE WASHER
it will lift seals and wash out lubricant
you can get brake cleaner, but it can stain, and remove paint
traffic film remover is usually diluted with water first
I use a little gardeners type squirty bottle
squirt on, work it in with old toothbrush and soft brush
then wash off with hose, thoroughly
then give the motorcycle a good clean with a known brand car wash
wash off leather off and let it dry
