Breva 1100, 2008 39k miles *SOLD*

This is an incredible bike, no issues and one of the good ones out there. Comes with spacious Hepco Becker removable panniers and a fixed Givi Top Box. The panniers will take a crash helmet, the top box will take 2. (The top box had a carrier which has been removed so there are holes that will need plugging if it stays on the bike).

It comes with a USB charger and heated grips, Tucano hand covers and a flyscreen.

I have used this as my daily runaround and it has been totally reliable, having sorted all of the common issues with these bikes. If you are looking for a ‘sorted’ Breva, please read on:

The tank is in great condition, absolutely no bubbling, the dodgy OEM fuel filter was replaced last summer and it was bulging!

The mapping has been updated to ‘Beetlemaps Breva 1100’ which has cured the surging lumpiness you can get on these bikes.

The valves have been adjusted to spec and TPS reset. I will include the Guzzi Diag lead in the sale so you can check the ECU, I will show the buyer how this works. Engine, oil and filter changed last summer and transmission and final drive oil changed. It is an oil tight engine and no concern with the old oils. It is due an engine oil change and valves and I can do this for the right sale price.

All brake pads replaced last year.

I have tested all sensors and improved, where needed, the electrical connections where they might fail, (Side stand switch, Oil Pressure Relief switch, Speedo sensor) as this is a Guzzi after all, but in doing so, I haven’t experienced any anomalies with this bike.

Both fork seals replaced this summer and fork oil changed which has really smoothed the ride.

These bikes can suffer with water build up in the clock assembly, and it can be catastrophic. These clocks have been professionally repaired by ‘Carno’ and still have the warranty sticker, (see photo). This is why the bike was laid up in a garage for a few years, hence the low mileage for its age. It is all sorted now and no issues.

The suspension linkage was seized when I bought the bike, common problem, this has been changed and properly greased up, I will include the old one if the buyer wants it for reconditioning.

It comes with a toolkit and 2 really good manuals.

I had the seat professionally recovered last month for £250, it has a grippy cover which feels great and this is the most comfortable seat I have ridden. I previously had a Pan ST1300 and this is nicer in my opinion.
ULEZ compliant and I am paying £90 fully comp.
I would keep it, but I have 3 tontis I am restoring and need the space and funds so I have my Guzzi ‘fix’.

It has aged well, the finish is really good, no areas need attention and the tyres should be good until the MOT in April, subject to usage. No advisories from the last MOT.
The only negative is that I have just one ignition key, but this can be cloned by Carno for about £50, I just never bothered , 2 keys for the top box and cases though

I am looking for £2500 which I think is reasonable will put it on eBay for a little more to cover fees, located in Berkshire. Happy to answer any questions.
