When the fuel light goes  out how many miles is it to empty ?, this week i did 234 miles on a tank when the light went out, how much further can i risk ?.

when I had a Breva 1100 when you hit reserve it started to count down . The total mileage figure at the bottom of the screen changed to a miles left . One of the road testes only got 25 miles from the tank after this happened

Based on my 1200 sport you should get at least 25 miles, and maybe up to 35, but bear in mind that each bike may be slightly  different.
I found out by running out, but if you want to avoid, try brimming it immediately the light has gone on. I can say the tank is almost exactly the 23 litres that it is supposed to be, so you should be able to work out easily how much you have left when the light comes on.

On the Stelvio it counts up when it goes onto reserve, I allow 25 miles and have seen that, but have never tested it to run out, so that must be a little bit more.
Breva 1100, light comes on, looking for a filling station near Shepton Mallet, all the old ones are closed, engine cut as I rolled into the supermarket filling station in Shepton, having circumnavigated the West of England Showground, 32 miles.

Managed 36 miles with reserve light on.Â
Must have been on fumes by then…Â
