The Odometer knob on my Cali appears to have been snapped off at some stage. I have a replacement from Gutzibitz and upon inspection it looks like the brass section has remained in place, whilst the plastic has broken off. Can anyone help me with how to remove the brass and fit the replacement? Thanks in advance. Chris
Its a very fine left hand thread, go gently and a tiny blob of liquid gasket or similar (not threadlock, too strong) will prevent it from going awandering.
Obviously this is if you can see what looks like a little brass pin inside the hole of the casing.
Once done, think before resetting your trip as you instinctivly turn it the wrong way…or I do anyway.
