Anybody able to share the knowledge on shimming the conrods on a crankshaft, as friend’s heart won’t find a peace until he’s sure about clearance/gap acceptable in his Cali III. Personally I don’t believe there are any shimms as there’s no way to put them there, but… a peace of mind is a great thing to have.
You wouldneed to refer to the full workshop manual for the information.
Here’s one giving crank imensions, but no sign of any shims
Big End Axial Float = 0.030-0.040mm (0.0011-0.0015in)
There are no Shims!
