I wouldn’t like to say on that one. Check the parts book to see if the part numbers are the same.

I don’t think the barrels are handed, but as Don says, you can download the Parts Book from various places (TLM, Stein Dinse etc) and check the part numbers.
It’s all a bit confusing. The part number for the cylinders is 13022001 from the 750 parts manual on ‘This old tractor’ website which differs from the TLM numbers. I’m a little resistant to pay 800 euros plus inport tax and shipping and I’m not too sure about vat, also there’s a post somewhere I’ve seen where the cylinders from TLM turned up damaged. I think I’ll leave it for now and see if a Uk supplier gets any.
I’ve now fixed all the leaks from the bell housing and have discovered that the front seal is also knackered and leaking. Anyone done this job and got any tips?
Many thanks Dave
There is the option to get the existing barrels replated. Langcourt (in Weston Super Mare) did the ones on my T3 for approx half the cost of the Gilardini kits (although these do include new pistons and rings) I was able to use the existing pistons (very low mileage bike) but you would need to check on piston condition and ring compatibility.
There is a lot of loopframe expertise and assistance on some of the american forums and on the ‘thisoldtractor’ website. I think there is some experience in the USA of replating.

My Eldorado Gilardoni cylinders came loose in a cardboard box with the fins smashed! I can’t remember where I got them from, maybe HMB in Germany. Staggering when you think of the price. They replaced them, no bother and when I bought some for my Ambassador I made sure that I told them to make sure they were well packed.
I have read several reports stating the same, so I don’t know who packs them - maybe Gilardoni?
I have changed the clutch without removing the engine - no trouble.
Well. I went and did it. Two cyclinders with pistons and bits. Bloody expensive, and a bit nerve racking as to what was going to turn up. A word to anyone else thinking of taking the same route the import duty, vat and UPS Handling/Admin charge came to £145.00 on top…ouch. They turned up really badly packed , nothing more than a single wrap of bubble wrap and cardboard box. I concider myself very lucky when opened the box up and everything is ok.
Now to fitting, looks simple enough…thats what I thought went I bought the bike. Any tips/hints would be greatly appreciated
Oh Brexit, things are so much better!
