Club Regalia Shop Notice - Please read..!

Hi all.

I feel compelled to write regarding an increasing incidence I am experiencing with Orders being placed for regalia, where customers are challenging me and expecting “amazon prime” and “ebay”-style shipping responses on their items.

Every item offered for purchase on the webshop has a detailed description loaded against the item AND also guidance on whether the item is held IN STOCK or MAY TAKE UP TO 28 DAYS TO FULFIL.
The delay on some garments is down to colour and size choices and these are personalised individually.

With up to 8 size choices and 5 colours on Tees, Rugby and Polo shirts, it would represent a huge financial investment for the Club to always hold one of each in stock for immediate dispatch! That’s 40 items per size choice on just one garment alone…

So PLEASE, consider;

-if your order is URGENT / for a special occasion etc. CALL ME. My details and email address have been published in Gambalunga and the website for over two years now.
-if ordering custom items NOTE the terms of offer and potential delay with personalisation.

  • I’ve also added sizing guidance to every garment we stock to try and assist in ordering the right item, but will always assist if needed.

Lastly, I am a volunteer as with all of your committee and this is not my day job, but at times this role can take up as much as a paid position…!

Fair points all round Chris.
For less urgent orders customers can arrange collection from club events where we often have regalia for sale and pre-order collection.

Regalia has never been easier to collect Steve, as I support a number of regional events in the calendar along with Guzzifest and the AGM.
As you say, I’m always amenable to a “Collect” order when attending Events, which saves the postage PROVIDING at this time I receive the order by email up to 28 days in advance.

A “Click and Collect” option removing postal charges will be available on the Shop later this year and purchasing items as a Gift (receipt without price and alternative address entered) will be going live within the next month.

Hi Chris, so, you volunteer….by definition You do not receive payment for your labour. It would seem to me that any club member who would put pressurise you is frankly unacceptable. They should, back off, this is not Amazon Prime. on a personal note, thank you for giving your time. Best regards, Chris.
