Clutch lever adjuster wheel on a T3.

The thread in the adjuster wheel for clutch at the handle bars has stripped on my 1978 T3 making the clutch engagement ‘interesting’

The adjuster wheel is made of aluminium, but the actual clutch cable guide it engages with is made of steel. I assume the continual loading of the aluminium adjuster wheel threads from using the clutch has weakened them to the point of failure.

I cannot find the adjuster wheel for these Tomaselli type of clutch levers listed as a spare part anywhere. Does anyone know if an alternative part can be used?

The thread on the clutch cable guide is a M8 x 1.0mm. To get around the problem and make the clutch usable, i have fitted a pair to M8 metric fine half nuts in place of the adjuster wheel to keep the engagement consistent.

Any advice would be welcome.
