Does anyone know what has happened at CMW Motorcycles of Chichester, tried to contact them, but the phone cuts off without ringing.
Looked on the Motoguzzi website and they don’t appear on the dealers list anymore.
There old web site no longer exists, however there is a replacement one linked with a company called motogb.co.uk.
Be a shame if they are no longer a Guzzi dealer, as I liked the service I was getting from them.
The business has been closed, I’ve exchanged an e mail with the owner as a knew him. Such a shame as it seemed a great business but I think Piaggio drove the boss near mad they are utterly useless re spares provision, delivery etc. I’m afraid I can’t use what he called them ! He also mentioned that the margin on new bikes is too thin from the manufacturers so it’s difficult to make a decent profit. I was wondering where the lead mechanic has gone, I may try to find out as I had issues with my V85 from new that entailed new cylinder heads, a batch of duff valves (heat treatment).
Would be interested if you find out where he has gone.
I had oil leak from the rear drive, this took some time to resolve, so they leant me a loan bike, which I knew is something they didn’t do as a rule.
Really good service for me and the bike, I even took out the extended warranty as I was happy to continue using them, so will have to find another dealer, while it still under warranty.
Apparently, according to a friend of mine who is closely connected to CMW the lead mechanic has left the motorcycle trade. Can’t say i blame him!
