Just to let anyone who has problems with their footboard brake pedal, when I bought my Convert, some years ago now, I tracked down an “Advanced brake pedal” which has been a great improvement to the ease of operating the rear linked brake. I now am rebuilding a T3 California and would like another. The Advanced pedal has quite a home made look to it and I might see if I can find someone who can replicate it. It doesn’t look to be anything too complicated for someone with reasonable fabricating skills, and equipment.
Is there anyone hereabouts who might be willing to give it a go. As I said I have one and can remove it to use as a pattern. Cheers John.
Have you got a photo or a drawing showing the difference over the stock pedal?
Put up a picture. Might be helpful!
I knew I’d seen a discussion somewhere before on this - for those curious, I found a post in Guzziriders forum, and a few images. Basically, the example I’ve seen employs a new lever that goes under the right footboard, and the actuating pedal extends forwards and up at the front of the footboard. Not seeing it myself, but for those who fancy the idea:

A long while back, I think Harpers were selling a version, but no sign now.
