it’s allways good to have infro about things like this, this item is one all should carry as a spare, but dont forget for some reason this item, wherever brought will not include the small ‘O’ ring so before you bin the old cable take of the old ‘O’ ring, better still if you can buy a new one, but if the local bearing shop is too far away just re-use the old ‘O’ ring, see also Guzzijacks post 30 05 2010Timing Sensor for EFI engines,

Just found that the one on my 97 Sporti is an SMP 18783, which ties in to the Intermotor 18783. Best price found was just over twenty quid on Amazon.Phil
