Does anyone race guzzis?

I thought I’d come here and find loads of info about race meetings.

:frowning:

dont think its a big thing with the club, more into touring, racing guzzis requires deep pockets !

Chris Saltinstall is probably the best-known Guzzi racer in the UK - he races a modified Le Mans (the Yellow Peril) in historic classes. If you’re on Facebook you can see what Chris is up to. I think Nic Powell also runs in some of the same classes on a small-block machine. I think Nigel Clark has retired from racing now? His bikes were for sale last year.
Piaggio run a series based around modern V7’s but I don’t think it has any rounds outside Italy.

I found these using the search facility on here, there were some members who did classic racing a few years ago and reported on here but I can’t find the threads.

Enjoy

When I click on the link it does not open, maybe because I am not a Facebook user?

Actually it doesn’t open when I click it. I am in fb and put in “Paul Lewis Moto Guzzi” and info came up.
I ran a small convenience store less than 100 yards from where Paul lived when he ran a Harley Davidson dealer in Southampton.
He won Battle of the twins in '95 against Brittens on a Raceco Moto Guzzi daytona.
