Have any members used an Eazy Rizer type lift https://on-bike.com/ the type with a screw jack lifting mechanisim that enables the removal of both wheels to lift a V7 or V9.
Yes … I used to own a 2015 V7II, and needed something to hold it in the air while I wanted to remove the swinging arm, ( to replace a leaky pinion oil seal ), and also have the forks out at the same time … It was perfect … After some head-scratching, regarding which bottom clamping options were required… I was advised to have their “universal footrest kit”… A wise choice, safe, secure, and very stable… Don’t worry about the cylinders fouling the angled upright column…There is clearance… I don’t know which area you reside in, but I collected mine from the factory in Tamworth … Hope this helps, Regards, Tony
Thanks for the advice Tony, I have a V9 Bobber which I think has foot pegs set more forward than your previous V7II. I will send some images of mine to Dave who makes the Eazy Rizer and see about the “universal footrest kit”
It’s good to know another Guzzi owner has used one.
Regards, Simon.
