Faro Rally 25

Anybody going to the Faro rally this year

No, but it looks like a great ride :+1:
Are you heading there.? If so, which route are you taking.?

I was thinking of ‘popping’ for a pint of Bushys beer in Gibraltar at some point, depending on time/availability I’d either use the overnight ferry to Spain, or the one to St Malo (again overnight).
Have done St Malo ferry several times holidaying with the kids. I like the Route as it arrives early so gives you a full day to drive down, (400 miles to a place Sth of Bordeaux for me usually).
The Spain ferry is expensive but noted it can be had for around €100 each way (plus cabin) in October (when it’s still plenty warm enough down there).
It’s another ‘on the list’.. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

you could get bushys beer a bit closer to home than that, as it is brewed on the Isle of Man

Yeah, but it’s a fair excuse to go for a ride surely.. :winking_face_with_tongue:

And anyhow, what makes you think I have to go as ‘far’ as the Island for a ‘fix’.?

Back on track..
Are you heading to Faro Redbreather.?

Thought I’d let you get yhe Bushey’s out of your system

Aye, myself and a wierd guy on a Tenere are heading down the long way.
Staying with a friend in Kent Saturday night, Clermont Ferrand on Sunday. Then 2 nights in Andorra followed by a night outside Madrid arriving at Faro on the Thursday.
Sunday we’re off to Gibraltar fir 2 nights, then Alicante, Girona, Clermont Ferrand (again) finishing with 2 nights in Caen for a bit of Remembrance before the Shuttle on Sunday and back home.

Done the long crossing before and just got  bored. Rather ride and visit places.
