Fat Stella arrives in Devon

New member here, based on South Devon, with my 2013 Stelvio NTX, “Fat Stella”.

I have had Stella for about four years, purchased in Michigan, USA, when I was living in Louisiana. I’ve done some touring in the US, then brought the bike over here when I moved back, last year.

Due to work and other competing priorities, it took a while to get the import and DVLA paperwork done, but she is all legal and has a number plate now, so I expect to be touring the UK and beyond, in the next couple of years. I do have some other bikes to ride but the Stelvio has been a faithful companion and always puts a smile on my face.

First proper ride out (not including for MOT), up on Dartmoor. It rained, of course, but not enough to spoil the ride.

Nice, but must feel odd, Stella being a right-hand-drive bike.. :winking_face_with_tongue:

That is a real concern. I will have to take her out regularly to re-train her

Gday mate, I’m also in South Devon and the “contact dude” for the SW Devon Branch. Looks like one of my favourite places there, Combe Tor. We have a rideout this coming Sunday if you are interested…

Thanks for the welcome.

I’ll see what’s going on. I was thinking of going up to the Guzzifest, although I suspect I’ve now left it a bit late to reserve a spot. Where will the rideout be meeting and where will you be going?

Cheers!
Philip

Hi Philip,

You can see the info here: Branch rideout Sunday 17th August.

Cheers, Bob
