I stripped down the final drive to replace the oil seals and noticed the small oil seal looks to be in the wrong way so can anyone confirm which way round it should be thanks

Installing the inside axle shaft seal.
This seal is located at the deepest point in the rear-drive housing closest to the axle nut (closest to the Allen bolt head that secures the axle on the exposed-driveshaft models). This is one of the rare places
where a seal is installed backwards. That is the solid side goes in first.
That means the oil seal took out was in back to front (probably why it was leaking) thanks very much
