Front brake disc and calipers - alignment [Sport 1200]

I noticed a while ago that my front brake discs are not centred between the brake calipers (i.e. on the join line). The problem is that the difference cannot be taken out with shims as its the wrong side of the line.

Has anyone noticed this as well?
or
tried to rectify this?

Just how far out are they?
Are they equidistant and on the same side of central both sides?

Opposed-Piston Calipers will allow for a slight off-centre mounting, so unless they’re more than a mm or so out, I wouldn’t worry.

Main problem is uneven pad wear, so you have to renew a set because of one pad. I know they self adjust depending on the gap to fill.
