Fuel regulator part number required

I am hoping someone already has the part number of the “in tank” fuel pressure regulator that is fitted on the 1200 8V bikes?

It will save me having to remove the fuel pump assembly!

If not does anyone know of an alternative pressure regulator?

This item isn’t listed separately - its a complete fuel pump assembly

If this listing is the correct item, then it is a Magneti Minarelli RPM40 3 bar pressure regulator and is quite common to many cars Or are these for external units?

You may be best checking with someone like Gutsibits, NBS or Baldrick to see what they have to say.

It looks like this, the markings aren’t much help

Cleaned in ultrasonic cleaner and a load of muck came out. So they do get dirty!

Whilst you are in there, does it have a full metal fuel filter or is it the half plastic one that are known to swell up and burst open?
