Fuel running out of exhaust balance joints

Re: Nevada 750ie Aniversario 2012 Miles 9,990
Recently replaced injectors, plugs & air filter.

The bike suffered from intermittent running on LH cly. Tracked issue to coil. Changed coil, bike starts but stops after a few seconds. Then I noticed that fuel is running out of the exhaust balance joints.

Checked the tank, no leaks and all is dry under the tank.
Prior to the coil issue the bike ran fine.
Any idea as why this should be happening?

I stay well clear of EFI bikes, but the only thing I can think of is an injector left permanently “open”, but this would require a 12V constant supply at least - which shouldn’t happen after you take key off the ignition. If it happens just due to gravity… hold on, what? off balance pipe? Can you come back to old l/h injector?

Are you sure it’s fuel? I was running one of my bikes in the garage the other day and was getting a lot of water dripping from the exhaust connections - products of combustion creates water.

I’m not sure if I still have them but the bike was running okay for a few weeks before I re[laced the coil.

But I will see if I can dig them out and try them. Thanks for the response.

Yeh, its the on a dry wood floor and I started smelling the fuel before I saw it.

I have the battery on charge over night, just to ensure that it’s up to full charge.

Thanks for responding. Martin
