Taking delivery of a 1955 and am told it would be a good idea to put a tap in oil feed to prevent wet sumping! Any ides of pipe width measurements to enable correct tap purchase please?
The usual way of inserting a tap is to put it on the banjo joint at the oil tank end. That way you don’t need to cut into the pipe. Here’s one on ebay: OIL PETCOCK VALVE FOR MOTO GUZZI LODOLA GALLETTO | eBay UK
